I had make 10 of these back in the day. I loaned Debbie to a friend of mine and never got it back. I still have all her clothes and when I seen she was back, I was so happy to see her I can now make her for my great granddaughters I am so happy. I wish I had her for my granddaughters but I know how much they meant to my daughters and out of the 3 of them 2 still have them and my daughters have let them play with them. She was easy to make and so was her clothes. I made each one with the same outfits but different colors I just love making her.

I've made 20 or 30 of these dolls over the years. I used to have all the patterns in this set, lots of clothes patterns and her brother doll pattern. Unfortunately over the years I lost the patterns. I was so excited when I saw the Debbie Ann pattern again! I had to get it. My old copy had notes written all over it on things I tweaked and it was taped together. It was a well loved and used pattern! I used a hairpin lace pin to make the fringe hairline. I added ruffles to her panties and designed my own outfits for her. Very excited to get Debbie Ann again.

I will be working on this pattern this weekend since it is to be raining and storming here. Looks easy. Don't have blue for dress but I do have green. Will be trying that color.

I have not made this doll and her outfit yet. I have read the pattern and it looks easy enough to make. I also like it for younger children because there are no parts that come off in little hands. The doll is soft all over not like the other soft body dolls that have a hard head. There several outfits available and you can use any color combinations for a large wardrobe. If a person likes to crochet, this set of patterns is for you.
