What a wonderful pattern!! The pattern's initial foundation row was tricky, so I just did a regular chain join with sl st to form a loop, then ch 1 and sc first round without turning and continued on from there--easy peasy--and FAST. With the easier chain and sc first row, no need for a long yarn tail to start the directions indicated a long yarn tail to start. No seams to sew to finish, only hide the beginning and ending yarn tails and done. Just the garment to toss on for a bit more warmth. Love it!! I'm a crochet expert, but having taught others to crochet, this is a perfect beginner pattern.

I think that it is beautiful and just what I have been looking for in a poncho, however, when I tried to purchase the pattern I got an error message saying I had already purchased it and needed to contact you. I don't understand why it did this. I want to download it now so I can start on it tomorrow.

I seen this pattern in the Crochet-Mag. And I had to try it, and i did. I have to say the pattern was very easy to follow and they couldn't have picked a better yarn to go with this Poncho. I made mine in the colors Mustard/Cream. My next one will be in Coral/Cream. The Poncho crocheted up rather quickly..

I am in the process of making this poncho and so far I'm loving the out come of the poncho. Sooooo easy to follow the pattern. Can't wait to see the finished project. To bad there isn't a pattern for children. How cool would it be to see a mother and daughter wearing the same item. Judy from Edmonton, Alberta. Canada
