Patterns with up to eight pages are printed in color; patterns with more than eight pages have color covers with black and white inside pages. Each of these 6 slippers begins with the magic ring technique. This technique creates a tightly closed center when you're crocheting in the round, so there’s no need to worry about your toes poking through your slippers! Instructions are included for 3 sizes in each slipper. The pattern book also includes a Magic Ring tutorial with color photos and step-by-step instructions.

4 slippers are made using worsted-weight yarn and 2 are made using bulky-weight yarn.

I gave 4 out of 5 stars only because as I was doing the Embossed Cuff Slipper project round 7 Foot it says where you should stop your sc (4 1/2, 5 1/2 & 6 1/2Âť) but it doesn't clarify how to measure or where to measure. From magic circle to edge. I tried to see if I could find clarification but could not. Other than that, I love these patterns. Hopefully the rest explain better.

I love this slippers pattern book. I worked up the striped slippers and they turned out perfect. I'm looking forward to making the tall slipper boots now.

WOW is this one good! I live in the UK so had to buy the download rather than the print copy - no worries, off to my friend with a colour laser printer and two hours later I was starting a pair of the tall slipper boots for my husband. Easy to follow patterns and I've done two pair of the slipper boots - which, btw, even work as socks for my wellie boots! I am so glad I bought this book and will be making everyone in the family a pair of the slipper boots for Christmas - we all wear wellies in winter and wellie socks as good as these are hard to find. Thank-you Annie's!
