I struggled with this quilt one of my first, but I did finish it, and it looks very cute. As mentioned in previous reviews, sewing with the puffs attached is very frustrating. I did read in the directions where it says not to overfill them, but it does take a bit of trial and error to get them puffy enough to be fluffy for interesting baby play, but still squishy enough to sew over. I used a polyester fiber fill, even when I originally planned on using my leftover fabric scraps to fill the puffs. It is much easier to gauge the size of the puff filling when you can grab basically the same size handful each time. For this reason, I pulled all the filling at once and then started filling the puffs afterward. I used my walking foot, which made maneuvering the needle more difficult due to size. But I used the walking foot because I added a second layer of batting. I didn't think it seemed soft enough for a baby to lay on a floor without carpet. It did take me some time to build up the courage to tackle the completion of the quilt after I got it started, but I am glad I did. It turned out really cute, in spite of my frustrations, and I am hopeful my goddaughter will enjoy it!

I am a confident beginner and I found this quilt very difficult. It should be noted to NOT overfill the puffs regardless, the puffs really get in the way when you're trying to attach the backing. I almost gave up.

This is not an easy quilt. I have several quilts I have quilted and reading these instructions put me in tears. All the letter naming to the cuts are just confusing. I am so beyond frustrated and felt I just wasted money since there is no support, no video no anything for this pattern. If you are no a seasoned quilter, stay away
