This is a really good product, and really does make it more comfortable to crochet ... if you don't try to fit anything over a "F" hook into it! I had a really difficult time getting my "G" and "H" hooks into the grips, and they were Susan Bates brand! I haven't tried my Boye hooks yet, but one would think that the hooks made by the same brand that manufactures the grips would fit better. Now, perhaps the grips will loosen up a little as time goes by. But I think SB should offer a larger size as well. Note that I haven't tried using these grips on any of my small steel hooks yet, so I can't speak to that.This would be a 5-star product if the sizing wasn't so inaccurate.

I am 75 and have been crocheting for 45 years. I have bought several different kinds of cushion add-ons for my crochet hooks. The Susan Bates (#14507) Cushion Grips are the best ever! They slide on easily for any hook from F to J size. They are light and flexible too. When using them I find my grip is easy and light thereby lessening the tension and tightness in my wrists. The discomfort I have been having for about a year is now gone. I would highly recommend these cushion grips to anyone who wants to decrease any stress on their wrists or hands from constant crocheting. Lastly it is easy to write the hook size on the base of the grip ( the grip will cover the hook identification) using a pen or marker. A minor plus is that once the Cushion Grip is on the hook I've found I drop the hook less and it stays put when I put it down. Elizabeth
