Hot Bowl Hot Pad Sewing Pattern

December 30, 2016

I bought this pattern to make Christmas presents. I made several due to the well written, clear instructions. I did not use the laminate for the top as I was unable to get one that you could use in the microwave. Perhaps others may be successful as I live in the UK and perhaps it is easy to get in America. Having said that I have experienced no problems although with hindsight I would make a couple of tops so my friends could have one in use and one in the wash. As you can guess I love this pattern and plan to use it again and again. Excellent price for the quality of the pattern.

Hot Bowl Hot Pad Sewing Pattern

The hot bowl hot pad is amazing. Directions are fairly easy to understand. The pattern calls for the a layer of vinyl or laminate to be used on the splatter guard. Tested several different pieces with same result on all - scorched material. Not sure where the author gets vinyl that will not burn in the microwave. Friends and family members love these hot pads. Guess I know what everyone will be getting for Christmas this year. Well worth the price of the pattern.
