Knit in Front and Back of the Stitch

Appearance in pattern - kfb

Knit the next stitch but do not remove the stitch from the left knitting needle. Insert the right knitting needle behind the left knitting needle and knit again into the back of the same stitch. Slip the original stitch off the left knitting needle.
