I took the leap about 3 years ago to make this quilt. I make a baby quilt for each of my mother's great-grandchildren, and each one needs to be unique. I had not really worked with applique up to this point, but I did the research, watched many you-tube tutorials, and this got rave reviews! I found the instructions easy to follow, and now three years later, have a request for another one of these. I will be making it again. Thanks to the Annie's IT department for digital downloads. We are building a house, so keeping all my patterns organized on my computer is a Godsend!

Oh my! I am in love with this pattern! I have just completed the applique on all the bears and am stitching the squares. I can tell this quilt is going to be darling and that I will continue to get requests! It is going to my great niece. I have fabric left over for a pillow case and matching bib! Definitely a keeper! Thank you!

I have made this twice so far and loved it.

I altered it to fit my two sons' families so one had 6 small bears, no room for mum and dad! The second had two large and two small bears and an added cat! I put pink or blue in the ears too. I also used fabric left to me by my mother in law so they became heirloom quilts.

This is an easy quilt to make and simple FMQ suits it just fine.

Took me a few minutes to get my applique going. I am putting the finishing touch (binding) on mine today. Overall it was simple. The 4" blocks make up fast thus offsetting the time spent on the applique. Before I came to work today, I cut out another one in light pastels to make over the holidays. This is a pattern I plan to use many times. Oh and my the way, it is a nice size quilt.

This project was easy and simple, but very elegant. This baby quilt was for my great niece. Because she has an older sister, I used some of the left over Fabric and made one for her dolls. I appliqued one of the smaller bears in this one and doubled my batting to make it "puffy". I will certainly make it again and have given my friends the address to your website, as they expressed an interest in making one.
