As an occasional crocheter, but not beginner, I found this pattern challenging at first. I made a huge mistake in row 11 and had to rip out over a skein's worth of work. I joined the Facebook group and found someone who had posted pictures of her finished shawl and was able to figure out where I had gone wrong. Now I am loving this project and can't wait to finish mine! Unfortunately, like others, I am purchasing additional yarn today.

Customer service was VERY helpful when I could not figure out the initial repeat pattern. I did need more yard than the 4 skeins indicated. I noticed someone else mentioned they needed more than 4 so I ordered 6 but still wasn't enough. My gauges seemed correct but I am waiting on another couple of skeins to complete the very beautiful project.

This pattern challenged me, and after a few frogs, I finally got into a rhythm and am loving it. I ordered the kit just as it's presented and am very happy with the yarn choice. I am about 3/4 done and it is apparent that 4 skeins is not enough, so I'm ordering one more.
