A Deer Pair Crochet Pattern

I wanted to make this blanket for my son in law's Birthday and though I did start it, I need to be able to size the graph larger so I can count the squares myself. I am not able to follow the written pattern because I am not familiar with the brackets & the inside each other. SadlyI cannot complete this because the graph is much to small for my eyes. I am sure I am not the only person who only uses the graph to complete this.
