Sunflower Field Throw Blanket Knit Pattern
A beautiful, simple afghan!
A sunflower field is like a sky with a thousand suns. Seeing a meadow of giant yellow flowerets can’t help but make me smile. Drowning in a sea of yellow is what brings me joy and peace. Those bright summer blossoms inspired me to knit the rustic country cottage blanket, featuring pretty floral lace motifs on either side and bottom edge, and cable center pattern.

Sunflower Field Throw Blanket Knit Pattern
I did this in Cascade Pacific Chunky and it turned out very nicely! It is listed as an Intermediate pattern on the website but on the pattern itself it says "Advanced" and I agree with the advanced rating. It was challenging to learn how to make "nubbs" with bulky yarn but after some practice it worked. Also I had to order an extra skein of yarn which may be due to using the Cascade yarn vs the first option. Overall, though, it is a beautiful blanket and I am proud of my work!
