I just bought the pattern. I wish the description had more information before I bought it. According to the instructions, you need 3/8 each of 20 assorted colors. If my math is correct, that comes out to 7 1/2 yards of fabric. And that doesn't even include the white. I am a beginner but that seems like an awful lot of fabric. Not sure I will make this.

Love this pattern, have not started it yet. Although in reading thru it I found it confusing. Hopefully when I sew it will all make more sense, but at this point not sure its a beginner.
