What is a "print-to-order" pattern?

A print-to-order pattern is printed for you at the time we receive your order. Patterns with up to eight pages are printed in color; patterns with more than eight pages have color covers with black and white inside pages. We'll print and ship it to you within 24 to 48 hours after receiving your order. Please note that your print-to-order patterns will be shipped separately to you so if you ordered other items, you'll receive multiple packages.

Knit this pattern with approximately a total of 880 yards of DK-weight yarn at a gauge of 24 stitches and 32 rows per 4" using U.S. size 3/3.25mm double-point needles.

    I was extremely disappointed in this pattern. It is nothing more than an i-cord, woven into the shapes. I'm sorry, but I don't consider making i-cords knitting. For anyone contemplating this, because it does look cool, well, you can buy cord or jute at the craft store and just weave it into these patterns. If you do want to knit these, then invest in one of the knitting cord makers or a french knitting spool to make the i-cords quickly and easily, because knitting the amount of i-cord needed to make the coasters and trivets will drive you nuts.
