Knit with 4 colors of DK-weight yarn and add a faux fur for the larger gnomes hat. Use U.S. size 4/3.5mm needles. These gnomes also require toy stuffing.

    Easy pattern. Working on my third gnome. Made one change to the pattern. Knitted the arm and sleeve as one unit. Knitted the sleeve as usual but on the last row, a pearl row I knitted it to mark the end of the sleeve, Then switched yarn for the hand decreasing 4 stitches on the first row and knitting 6 rows total for the hand. This uses small amounts of yarn. I like to combine shades of the same color which makes stocking stitch more interesting.

    Haven not started it yet, but pattern looks easy to follow. Will be a gift for a friend and can't wait to see finished product!
