An intricate blanket that looks amazing in any colour. This is very much for an experienced knitter who can find some quiet times to concentrate on this one. Its worth it though.

Love this blanket, once I knitted it everyone wanted one, has just done my 3rd blanket, very fast knit. I too have done it in a chunky and double knit but used 2 balls at a time look great. Thanks for a beautiful blanket.

I knit this pattern with what I had on hand, some Charisma yarn by Loops & Threads. It knit up beautifully and I found the pattern very easy to follow. It probably took about 4 days, with the bulk of it being the time to add on the lace border, which really makes the blanket special. I don't always block my knit/crochet projects, especially if I'm just going to pop them in the washer right away, but please don't neglect that step with this circular blanket. Your stitches will be so well displayed after a good wetting and blocking. With this yarn and a size 10.5 needle, it blocked out to the advised 48".

This is a lovely pattern. I knitted it in double knit wool on 5mm needles just to try out the pattern. It knitted up smaller than the stated measurements (as you would expect!) but is gorgeous. I'm going to do it with chunky next time :)
