I have a student who is blind and she has started crafting two years ago with me. Her favorite has been loopy yarn and latch hook. I am always on the lookout for new and exciting things for her to try and make into gifts for her family. I saw this pattern and the light went off. She could do this. I crocheted the base net using her birthdate as my guide. This was perfect as she is a twin and you use then date twice.. she did all the weaving and made the fringe, everyone was amazed at how beautiful this Afghan was especially her mom who received it as a Christmas gift. Thank you Annie's for yet another great pattern. We also are members of the monthly craft kit and she loves trying new crafts with me each month.

I am very happy with this pattern. The instructions are clear, quick and essy and the calculations are simple to understand and can be adapted to fit any date. I have a request to make one in certain other colors; can't wait to see how it turns out.
