Quartzing Trouble (Museum of Mysteries Hardcover Book #11)
Scarlett is surprised to receive a curious package addressed to a stranger, Quartz Sutton. Soon Scarlett discovers the mystery man is an unexpected guest at the museum who enthralls people with his tales of missing black pearls, sunken ships, and hidden mines
Over dinner, Quartz gleefully informs everyone that his stories are filled with breadcrumbs they can follow to solve a mystery of their own. When Quartz disappears, Scarlett wonders if his vanishing act is another hint, but it looks like Quartz was taken against his will. As the suspects gather, nothing is quite as it seems and a treasure trove of new clues are revealed, making Scarlett and her friends question everything they knew about the case. The one thing they know for certain is they have to find Quartz before it’s too late.

Great book. This whole series has been great. Very disappointed that there is only 12 books in this series. Trisha, WV
while the story and characters were interesting, the many meetings that Scarlett and her friends had discussing what they learned, which usually was very little, really made the novel drag. We read when the character talks to someone, then read about a meeting where the character tells others about what they discovered, and a few pages later they have snother meeting. It got boring. I feel the stories are better when just Scarlett investigates. As usually, Scarlett has no idea who the killer is, which I kind of like. It was a nice story, but could have been better. If the author has to pad the story out, it would be better to have a second story line to keep the readers interest. - Chuck from Nebraska.
