FriXion Ball Gel Pens-Heat Erasable 3/Pkg.
These pens are perfect for using on fabric!
Carolyn Vagts, editor of Quilter's World magazine says, "These fabulous gel pens allow quilters to mark quilting patterns, applique placement and embroidery stitches using a patented gel that disappears when it is heated. So ingenious!"
Please note, it is possible for the ink to re-appear in below-freezing temperatures. Heat will remove them again if this happens, however, if you will be traveling with the quilts to a cold climate or shipping them during cold weather, you may want to only use these pens for seam allowances or on the reverse side of the fabric.
Please also note, these pens were originally created for paper, and while many quilters love them and use them often, we ask that you please make sure to do a test with your fabric before using on your project.

Work great to mark fabric to make binding and masks. Sometimes, putting clips with scissors just isn't appropriate to mark fabric. With the pens, I don't have to worry about sewing around cuts that might get too deep.
I've had these pens before but lost the first set. They work wonders making cutting pieces out well.
Very good product.
These pens are great for marking during any sewing project. I especially like that the markings can be erased by ironing. The marks are even erased from my paper templates. Caution: I have found that on darker fabrics, a cloudy residue remains even after ironing. Not a problem if marks are made on the wrong side of the fabric.
I have used the blue one in the past and it is perfect for quilt markings when sewing and cutting fabric. It erases with a hot iron. I am anxious to use the red and black as they will show up on different prints of fabrics. Great addition to quilt supplies.
