Omg. I had bought Lenas Ganzi afghan and I picked it up immediately. I bought this one thinking the instructor was going to instruct. She was way to quick and there is no way I can follow this. I will try the baby blanket first but the speed she goes this is an advanced class. Not intermediate. Sorry I purchased it. Maybe someone else will give this class a whirl and I can actually see what they are doing.

I purchased this class thinking I was going to learn how to crochet a cable Afghan. She was very clear in what she taught however it was way too quick and I need a lot more visual on some of the steps. Rows one through four were easy. In row five she only showed the forward cable 12. Even though she had shown the other stitches previously, she never showed doing a forward cable four on top of the previous rows as an extension from the beginning of the cable or a forward cable six as an extension from the previous one. The cable look so odd and bulky I was never sure if I was doing it right and she never showed us doing those stitches together, which was a shame. It left me feeling she felt I had already done cable afghans before, which I hadn’t. So perhaps I chose to advanced of a class. I would’ve enjoyed the class where when we get to the next row she would have shown us how the cables join together and laid with the previous row. The other Annie’s video classes that I have taken have been crystal clear. That’s what I was expecting.

I love cables! The only part I had to use the video for is when the cables started to move to make it seem a little bit difficult to understand just the instructions on how to make the cables move. Other than that I'm enjoying the class so far and it is fun forming more than 1 style cable. I like doing many other cables as well and making it look pretty.

I am in the process of making the large afghan. Thank you Jennifer for teaching this class. This project is just challenging enough without becoming overwhelming. Everything was explained and shown so very very well. I have already purchased the first cable class you taught and I can't wait to crochet the projects for that class. I am looking forward to seeing you teach other classes for Annie's. You are truly an asset to the Annie's platform. Thank you.

I made the lapghan size last winter and I LOVE it! I find Jennifer's style of instruction easy to understand. The beauty of a video class is being able to watch it over and over (but I never needed too) for those trickier parts. I love the large cable sections; I'm a fan of this designer and of cable work. I'll be making the baby size this coming winter!
