Krista Southern is an expert sewer, and has been sewing most of her life. She was lucky enough to pursue her love of sewing after she retired from a 31-year career in the health field. Although she sews and embellishes a variety of items, she is particularly fond of machine embroidery and has been teaching since 2001. Krista currently teaches new owner classes and embroidery software classes for a local machine dealership. In addition, she facilitates the embroidery club for a fabric shop and continues to pursue her love of all things sewing.

Could have included more information for a beginner, however the information on stabilizers was very helpful, also the the needle instruction. A little more division of segments would have been helpful. Overall this was very informative and worth the purchase.

I've been embroidering, on and off, for a while now. I enjoyed hearing about the different stabilizers, threads and needles and I felt the instructor gave us a lot of information on each. For a new embroiderer, I believe this class should be used on a lesson by lesson basis, where the student watches a section and then practices the technique, if at all possible. There was a lot to digest and someone new to embroidery could easily get confused. Good job and a great reference.

It needed more info and explanation on how to do the embroidery. Did not tell what type of stabilizer to use with the redwork. Did not give enough information for the mylar. This class is not for a beginner.
