I've been sewing and quilting for many years, but needed a little refresher before tackling a handbag. This was a great class, and I watched it all the way through one morning. My plan is to paper-piece the front of the purse (using a design I created myself with quilt design software), and then proceed to complete the bag using Nancy's instructions. I just purchased the fabric, and can't wait to get started! Her design is a perfect canvas for all sorts of design possibilities, and I know there will be many more bags to create using my favorite fabrics, threads, and embellishments. Thank you for the inspiration!

5 Plus stars, excellent class, not just a project class, the why you do something is explained. Have taken many bag classes, this one rates number 1 at this point. The camera focus is also very useful when she shows steps in constructing.
Well worth it, if one takes only one class, I would highly recommend to start with this class.

Excellent class in making handbags. Nancy takes you through all the steps in detail and I did not have any questions. Nancy explains each step as she sew the front, back and pockets of the bag. She shares her tips and techniques as you watch her put together this lovely bag together.
