Fabulous pattern! The tutorial is paced just right and extremely helpful for the special stitches. I reached out to the instructor as to how to increase the width of the pattern, she was very helpful in laying out the changes needed to do so. I made this as a Christmas gift for my daughter of who is very precise in what she likes or not she said this was her most favorite thing I've ever made for her. Thank you Elena for you help! I will be making another one for myself!

As I've said before, Lena Skvagerson is a Superb teacher, with admirable enthusiasm and energy! The only one thing in this video is that, since the whole afghan is only one color, sometimes it is a little difficult to see exactly where you're at. Or perhaps it's just the lighting on my computer.

I have taken many classes from Lena and the quality of this one is just as perfect as all the others. Her speed is ideal for beginners as well as others wanting to learn new stitches. I highly recommend any of Lena's classes.

What a beautiful throw! I'm a visual learne and truly appreciate the video. I've caught myself a few times needing to rip out a few rows and re-do them. My only suggestion would be to have the video calibrated with markerstimestamp for each row for ease of finding where to pick up it back up again.

This is an excellent tutorial on how to do this Afghan without it I wouldn't have been able to do it, I am trying to get in to view the video again to continue working on this Afghan and the site will not let me in it. Someone please check on this so I can continue working on this Afghan.

Lena is an excellent instructor. I like the fact that you can replay the last 30, 60, 90 seconds as many times as you need. I did have a horrid time with the Rib Stitch Section. Ripped it all out several times as I had a hard time figuring out which stitch I was working. Hopefully will do better the next time. I think it would be awfully difficult to complete this afghan without the video.

Love the look of this Gansey pattern but want to make it wider than the called for 44" . Is there a multiple for this pattern so that I may make it wider. It will be a gift for my adopted daughter & it will be made in her favorite color of Royal blue. Any help would be appreciated.Lesley Shields

With guidance from Lena, I used 24 as a multiplier. The original stitch count is 24x6144 and 144+3147. I wanted a shawl, so I went with 24x372 and 72+375. With a chain of 76 and a stitch count of 75, every section worked out beautiful to the design. I am loving this design and textures very much. Thank you Lena for your quick response to my question. It was so very helpful.

I think Lena is a wonderful instructor - the videos are precise and accurate. But I have to say that - like Alice F - I would like to know the multiplier for this pattern. In order to make the piece bigger or smaller with a different gauge... We paid for the pattern - why not share this information??? I can guess the number but I think putting the multiplier for each section would be in order and should be shared

Lena is a fantastic instructor. I enjoy crocheting with her videos. 5 star all the way although I give this class only 4 stars as there is no choice for left handed video as in the Annie's Kit Club tutorials. I look forward to starting my Gansey Style Afghan with Lena.
