I am embroidering Huckaback table runners and love choosing the coloured threads to blend in with the patterns. Have recently had 8 runners dyed to pretty colours and looking forward to embroidering them. Huckaback is very relaxing, finishing with a lovely runner or whatever you have worked on. I live in Charters Towers in Queensland, Australia and am interested in Annie's book on Huckaback embroidery.
This art died out with Grandma but is coming back to this generation.
I am trying to get the schools and boarding schools here to purchase Huckaback material and have the girls make their article to enter into our annual show. Try it and you will be hooked.
