This was a fun and easy pattern it worked up quickly with intuitive instructions and looked professional when finished.
It looks fantastic on my baby niece and she loves wearing it.

I also have been crocheting for many years. The pattern threw me a little around the arms. I also changed where the single crochet went around the double crochet loops and instead just made a chain and wove it around the loops so it could be adjustable. Then at the lower end of the yoke I did a chain 40, worked the front loops across and then chained another 40. This made it so there were two ties rather than one. Then as I went around the skirt I joined the rows on the sixth row rather than the ninth row. I did not like the back gap being so long. These changes are just my personal touch. Have fun crocheting!
