A simple pattern and the bag knitted up nicely. I didn't have the issues the other reviewers had. I picked up the stitches just fine to put on the circular needles, and the straps were straightforward and look like the photograph. A nice, easy project.

I completed the bag per the directions without any deviation. I was most disappointed in the finishing, adding the handles, picking up the stitches around the top between handles. It just didn't flow as shown in the picture. I then attempted to even the edges of the handles and top of the bag with a crochet slip stitch. Unfortunately it didn't help. I was so disappointed I "frogged" the bag. I will need to find an alternate pattern for the yarn now as I purchased the kit, not just the pattern.

It's nice and easy to knit but the number of stitches you have to pick up around the base are too much. At first I followed your instructions and then I undid the basket and only picked 32 stitches in each side now it is fine.
