Sand Dunes Throw Blanket Knit Pattern

I haven't knit this yet, but I was disappointed to find when I ordered the pattern that a this is knit with double strands, and b that the border is made by picking up stitches after the main pattern is finished, rather than knit with the pattern. Meh. I'm looking for a better pattern.
