What would be a good yarn to use other than wool?? I live in Louisiana an wool would be too warm. I'm anxious to get started.

I love this!!! I would like to know what colors I need to order. Since I am waiting on mr patterns, I thought today would be a good day to order the yarn...I want to use the same ones that were used. Thanks!

Sherri - The shrug is made with Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick super bulky weight. You'll need 7 skeins of Hudson Bay and 2 skeins of Fisherman.
