This is a beautiful poncho. I just finished it about 10 minutes ago and it took me about two weeks. There are NO errors in this pattern. This pattern is not for beginners. I would only recommend it to the advanced crocheter. I think one of the problems others may be having is how to count stitches, and I'm not being sarcastic. Remember, when doing a front post stitch the single crochet behind the front post stitch counts as a stitch. So when the instruction says skip 2 sc, you're skipping the single crochet behind the post stitch and the next sc. this pattern is basically a cross between an alpine stitch and a Celtic stitch. I enjoyed making this and I love the finished piece. I'd attach a photo of it but apparently, there is no way to upload photos.

Very frustrated that there is no customer support for patterns purchased here. This pattern clearly has errors. I am an experienced crocheter. The other reviews verify that there are problems with the pattern. If you try to fudge your way through one pattern error, it catches up with you later. So not only have you wasted money on a pattern, but also the 10 skeins of yarn purchased to make this poncho. čśí

Pattern is much too difficult to understand.

Beautiful sweater but the directions are very difficult to follow. One section they have in brackets a group of stitches which don't belong there. I needed to take apart rows on numerous occasions, but I finally did finish and it is beautiful. 5 starts for the look, but 3 stars due to the difficult to follow directions.

This pattern is a challenge. I have tried at least 5 times to work it. Not working out well, but I will continue to try.
I agree with Joanne w.

This needs a video tutorial! I love this pattern, but way too complicated to follow.
