The fact that I lived in the San Juan Islands and am familiar with the lifestyle. The characters are relatable.

I like the paper book covers, hardback books, the ribbon book marks. I would prefer that the same author wrote the entire series of Flower Shop Books.

I like all of Annies mysteries

What a fantastic start to a series I am anxious to get the next book, to see what e!see can happen.

From the moment I began reading I was hooked. Love the series and look forward to reading every book.

I just finished this book----liked the story. kept my interest. Decided I would like the next book.

While the characters were fairly well-developed, several things were irritating: (1) The constant use of Latin plant terminology -- we get it; Kaylee's a botanist. (2) The identity of the murderer is pretty obvious very early on in the book. (3) Kaylee swallowed again and again and again. (4) She knows she's in danger, but Kaylee goes over to the deserted house, all alone, anyway. (5) The murderer tries to make Kaylee drink poison when they're alone together, and it would be simpler and easier just to bludgeon and bury her.

It was a complete mystery. Started and solved in same book. I’ve read part of other series which forced you to read the whole series before solving mystery. This was well written
