I was not completely happy with the way the pattern was written so I let my experience do the work. I didn't like the sewing of the shoulders onto the front and back. I knitted the front and back and shoulders altogether in one piece, then just sewing up the side seams to where the armholes would start. Then I picked up the stitches needed on each side to do the sleeves.
I enjoyed doing the variety of stitches and may do another one.
