This iron is probably good for someone that uses cotton only or perhaps wool. I was very unhappy with the fact that it didn't have selections marked for different fabrics. When you try to iron satin the iron will not even glide over the fabric. When I did get it working, you couldn't get the wrinkles out of the fabric. My previous iron would take the wrinkles out of everything. Unfortunately my husband went and bought this for me and was told that it was not returnable to the store. This iron in Canada cost me approximately $240.00. I am very dissatisfied nd now have to go looking for something that will work.
