Rotten to the encore was only a fair book in the Museum of Mysteries series. Scarlett seemed overly worried about looking through the old crates at an old mansion in Crescent Harbor. It seemed that about a third of the book was devoted to Scarlett saying how worried she was. That seemed a little out of character for her as well as boring for the reader. The murderer was really the only real suspect, and while his motive seemed rather weak perhaps he was just insane. Not the weakest story in the series, but below average.
