I like the patterns, easy and quick except for the black section down the rooster's back. I will leave that out next time I make one and just make the whole body bi-color and not switch to black and have to carry the threads through. It makes the black stitches hard to see and the pattern unnecessarily complicated for beginners. I don't usually spend more than a few dollars on a pattern but this one was worth it. Love the chickens!!!

I have crocheted for a good 40 years and this is the first pattern ever that has stumped me. The only photo provided is a little blurry and difficult to see the wings and tail. It would really help if detailed photos of the wing and tail feathers were provided in addition to more detailed instructions.

I ordered the printed pattern. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, thank you. I have not started making one as I realized upon reading it that I don't have enough skills in crochet to execute this just yet. I am excited to make one though.
