I'm not sure why folks are having such a tough time with this pattern. I've only been crocheting about 8 months and don't have difficulty with it, and it turned out beautiful. That being said, they really should include a video; it would only be like 5 minutes long as it is so repetitive.

I have been crocheting for 45 years and I used to write crochet patterns. I purchased this and it is a horrible pattern. The second part is not clear at all. I worked on it for over an hour, but I still cannot get it. I understand it more, but it is still not clear. I am a visual learner so if there were photos for row 1 that would be helpful or even crochet symbols that would be easier. This is my first and last time buying a crochet pattern from Annies. I thought it would be a professionally written pattern, but it is not. I have made crochet items alot of complicated and detailed then this. It is only 2 rows, but poorly explained and written. I now see so many others have the same issue I have with this pattern. I am sure if I spent another 3 hours working on it I would figure it out, but I don't have the time to waste 3 hours or more on a poorly written pattern.

I just downloaded the pattern and purchased the yarn. After so many negative comments, why hasn't there been a pattern edit or an instructional tutorial created for the special stitch? The pattern states "insert stitch as indicated" but there are ZERO illustrations or anything to reference where the "indicated" point is to insert hook. The finished product looks beautiful and I really want to make it. Please please create something to assist. Clearly after so many comments of the same issue, Annie's realizes there is an issue. Where is the customer service?

Such a disappointment. There are no pattern notes, the links above don't work. This is a really unclear pattern, useless without a video tutorial or more specific description. I do not recommend anybody buying it.

I don't know why I am writing this review because they never get posted! This pattern is beautiful and I am a seasoned in crocheting. But this is the worse pattern I ever bought and one of the most expensive! It's written really bad and should at the very least have a video tutorial with it!
