Tiger Afghan Crochet Pattern

It took a while to finish - it is a HUGE afghan and will really make the 6-7 ft snowfalls we get throughout the winters here in the Appalachian foothills very snuggly. I had a question about borders, and not only did Annie's staff (thanks, Britt!) reply, but she referred me to the creator who also was very quick to respond and helped me a lot (thanks, Kim!). I went with a SC border matching the pattern colors along the edges, and followed that with a reverse SC in contrasting black all the way around. It is splendid! I heartily recommend this pattern to anyone wanting a really warm, bold afghan as a decorator piece! I plan to do it again - after my poor little fingers rest up - but reverse the colors, as a black jaguar, and want to try and include shimmering amber in the eyes. Annie's is such a treasured resource for patterns, kits, and excellent customer service and value!
