Ellen Gormley's design career began in 2004. She stitched more than 80 afghans before becoming a full-time designer. Within the crochet community, Ellen is particularly well-known for her stylish bead crochet and join-as-you-go crochet and motif designs. Today she has more than 250 designs including garments, bags and accessories and home decor.

Ellen's original projects have been published in numerous crochet magazines, and she has written two books. She is instructor of several successful Annie's online classes: Learn to Crochet, Learn to Join Crochet Motifs, Granny Squares: From Simple to Sensational, Learn to Crochet Lace, Learn to Read Symbol Crochet Diagrams and Learn to Bead Crochet.

So far, I like the class very much. I have only finished the first project but am looking forward to learning the techniques the other projects will teach me. I do hope to take more classes when I am done with this one. Well done!

I know how to crochet, but this class gave me more skills to design beautiful scarves and the hat was very nice too. Please buy the class, it will be a good investment for the year and many more years to come.

So far I am enjoying the course. I used to crochet but haven't touched it in years and have forgotten a lot. Right now I'm working on a hat. Made many hat and scarf sets years ago and also mile a minute afghans Hoping this course will refresh my memory. Instructor seems easy to follow.
