The class was everything I had hoped. It taught me how to read a diagram pattern and now I have enough confidence to try a pattern that used to intimidate me so much that I was not able to even attempt before. Even learned a new stitch. Can't wait to see if I can make something from a book I purchased from France. Thanks for boosting my confidence and would recommend this class to everyone.

I thought Ellen put her heart into this class. I really enjoyed it and am currently working on the Textured Stripes Reader's Wrap. I think learning the double crochet foundation stitch was great to add to my crochet skills, and Ellen explained it and showed it very thoroughly. I watched someone else do this stitch in the past and could never master it. I'm very pleased with this class and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ellen's classes to anyone I know who wants to advance their crochet skills.

So far I'm really happy with this class, it is doing everything I thought it would . I love learning something new. So HAPPY.

This is a wonderfully empowering class, it opens up a new world to me because I can practice and learn how to read patterns from other countries, It's also been extremely useful to me to know how to read these charts. When a pattern is badly written and/or contains errors, being able to read the chart helps you to decipher what you are supposed to do. This really is an invaluable tool for crocheting. Ellen is a wonderful instructor. She has a lot of charisma and has an enchanting screen presence. If you like to crochet then this is a must take class. It's worth every penny.

Using symbols are easier to understand and easier to do our crochet instead of reading line by line. I just love it. Hope in future all patterns come with symbols diagrams too besides words of instructions.

I Love the pattern that is for the Symbol Crochet Diagrams.

I have been crocheting for over 60 years. I've always felt intimidated by the symbol charts. This class explains things so well that my "mature" brain can comprehend. I highly recommend this class for anyone who crochets....it will open a whole new world for you.

I have crocheted for about 50 years and learned the English stitches. I was able to transfer to the U S system with no problem, but was always intimidated by the symbol method. This class has taken away the mystery and made it much easier to understand. Very worth the investment.
