Have always wanted to learn to read Symbol Crochet and have tried to teach myself but always got so far and then confused. Ellen has helped to have the light bulb go off in my head and now its starting to make sense thank you. I am sure I will come back to this class several times just for a refresher. Thanks Ellen for helping me understand.

I like to see how to do the patterns more. BECAUSE it is easier for me. I like the class because it shows me more and I can understand it more than reading it.

This is THE BEST class I've seen so far about how to read and use stitch symbol diagrams! Ellen is do personable, patient and well-organized instructor. Her explanations and demonstrations open a new world of possibilities for future crochet projects. Thank you!

Thank you Ellen so much for your excellent picture classes you are providing, however in the straight class, the video keeps starting over after only a couple minutes & the second I have to ask is where do I find the directions for this beautiful shawl that is among your classes you are teaching.

I have read several books and watched as many videos (free and paid) to learn how to read symbol charts. Ellen's is the absolute best, hands down! Well worth the investment and time. Now I'm enjoying playing with new patterns that would have taken eons to read and work.

I did start reading Symbol Crochet Diagrams on my own and I thought it was better for me than the text ones. I began looking for a class to learn more about it. Then I found this one. I have truly enjoyed this class. I learned new ideas and projects. Ms. Gormley is an excellent teacher. I will be looking for more of her teaching tools.

I am now ready to start several new projects. First of all, I would like to start the shawl. Thank you for such a good teaching Class. I would recommend it to my friends.

I simply love the class and the teacher. I was looking for a long time for someone to teach this to me so well explained! And now is evident to me something I didn't realize before: that reading a pattern is friendlier than reading a long explanation in which I lose time. I love the fact the teacher is so knowledgeable and explain step by step giving tips and the projects are beautiful. I can't wait to make them!

Excellent class. I was able to understand all but the part about how to know how many times to repeat designs going across the page for the shawls. It did not say how many times to repeat them. Thank you.
