I think once the errors in the pattern were discovered a revised pattern should have been sent to all who had paid for this pattern. Since the pattern is in a protected PDF file, the file I received cannot be amended I had to create an "errata" file in Word to go along with it. I have made this pattern twice the first time in the recommended Sarasota yarn, which I felt was stiff and scratchy. The second time I made it in a DK weight 3 baby yarn, which turned out beautifully. It is a lovely pattern once you get past the errors.

The Samsara Lace Pullover is an interesting mix of crochet stitches and textures. Read the pattern carefully and download the Revisions.Note As of the date of this review, there is only one revision in the Rhomb Texture section. I have enjoyed making this pullover and appreciated the helpful and quick response from Britt in Pattern Sevices.

I entered my sweater at State Fair and received best in the show. It was a very fun sweater to make!!

This pattern is definitely not easy due to errors, confusing instructions, and incomplete instructions. Since I'm an experienced crocheter I was able to persevere and puzzle it out. What I’m more disappointed in is the suggested yarn! The Sarasota is scratchy and stiff so the created fabric is just not at all inviting. I purchased this last spring just as everything had shut down and decided to buy the kit from Annie's. However, due to my first grandchild coming I put my patterns aside and have been crocheting baby items and only now getting to this project. Now that I've figured out the pattern I may make another with better yarn!

Been crocheting for many years and can normally read patterns with no problem, but this one has been a challenge, will keep on trucking/crocheting until the end, I hope.

Just finishing back really cute pattern and would be even better if there were not some errors in the pattern,,, thank goodness I am an experienced crocheter as I could adjust and figure it out

This is an adorable pattern and I've finished the back section so far. Gave it four stars because of some confusion in the pattern that should have been corrected, but enjoying the pattern and look forward to finishing it.

Beautiful stitches, but i don't think this was technically a "beginner" sweater. Required a lot of youtube searches, pattern a bit confusing to me. Got completely lost starting sleeves. My first garment in crochet. (have knitted sweaters) ... I would say this is an advanced beginner at best. Agree with Karen C about mistake -- but I just went with it.

Thoroughly enjoyed crocheting up this sweater. It went really fast despite all the different stitches- it really kept it interesting. I used a slightly finer yarn than the one suggested as we get different yarns in England. So went up a size, changed hook size, added a few extra rows and it came out so well. Sizing is perfect. ( there was a mistake in the original pattern which I had figured out as the numbers didn't add up, but Annie's very quickly sent an email with the correction.) An excellent top for both summer and cooler weather with an extra layer underneath. I may even make another in a different colour, definitely a great pattern to keep in my pattern library. Love it.
