I only learned to crochet 2 years ago so this afghan was a bit of a challenge, but I enjoyed it very much, learned a lot and now have two afghans to be very proud of I made the second one by using leftover yarn and purchasing a bit more. Huge praise for offering step-by-step videos! I could not have completed the afghan properly without it because there are a few nuances unknown to the beginner and the videos really show up close the execution of every single stitch! The yarn is very soft and the colors are rich and beautiful and the afghan drapes beautifully over the arm of our sofa. I have received countless compliments, some expressing amazement that I had not been crocheting for long considering the intricacy of many of the stitches! I learned so many different stitches that I can easily make other items scarves, bags, throws, etc using them and that is a bonus I had not anticipated. That makes this kit the gift that keeps on giving and well worth the price! Yes, you can get free patterns everywhere but you cannot get free, step-by-step, up close, easy to understand, video tutorials for all of these stitches. Excellent afghan kit and videos! I would give it one million stars if I could!
