I had to sew a silicone type patch on a hoodie today. First one I did the thread got all messed up. So I decided to try using the tool. What a life saver!! The foot kept sticking and once I put the Jean-A-ma-jig in it sewed so easy and didn't stick.

I was so hoping this would help end the frustration of trying to shorten and hem my husband's work jeans. Unfortunately, it did not. It was very hard to slide under my Janome pressure foot. It worked up until you reached the heavy fell flat seam. I was not going to break my needle trying to sew over the fell flat seem and had to stop and remove the jean leg from under the pressure foot. Maybe it will work on lighter weight jeans but for me it was a no go.

Love this gadget! I always have to hem my husbands new jeans and I hate going over the seams. This little thing takes all that hate away. It really works!

No more broken needles! This worked like a dream. I took up the hem in my husband's jeans without any stress or fuss. The finished product is sewed securely, looks professional, and didn't cost me any broken needles. Whoever conceived this product is a genius!
