Kick off making the gorgeous Cable Play Afghan by Rena V. Stevens in this Part 1 of a three-part series with instructor Rachel Afford. Stitch by stitch, Rachel will guide you through even the most complex stitches so you can make your version with success.

In this class, you’ll learn how to:
  • Crochet the border
  • Make the Lower Lattice Motif
  • Stitch the Bias Ribbon Motif
  • Crochet bottom triple treble, back post and front post treble, back post and front post double treble as well as decreases for each.

  • Lion Brand Wool-Ease medium (worsted) weight acrylic/wool yarn (3 oz/197 yds/85g per ball):
      • 16 balls #99 fisherman
  • Size J/10 / 6mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Tapestry needle
  • Locking stitch markers
