| Used as a decorative stitch, usually on a band sampler. Bring needle from back to front at 1, and insert needle at 2; exit a half stitch length to left at 3. Insert needle at 4, and exit a half stitch length to left at 5. Using a sewing motion, insert needle half a stitch length to right at 6 and exit through 4. Using a sewing motion, insert needle at 7 and exit at 8. Note: Needle position 8 is now 1 of next stitch. | |
