Grab your hook and join Edie Eckman as she takes you through making the Notes in the Garden Shawl! This shawl was originally designed by Lee Satori and uses fun stitches like the popcorn stitch. The purple, blue, and teal variegated yarn gives it a striped look without having to make the color changes.

Interested in donating your project? This pattern is for Handmade Especially for You, an organization that distributes comfort shawls and scarves to over 70 shelters all over California. The organization wants to make an impact on the women who receive the shawls, most of whom have never received a personal gift, much less a handmade gift. They want the shawls to help lift the women’s self-esteem and to help them begin changing their lives. See the end of the pattern for more information on donating.
