Now you can learn the Japanese art form of amigurumi! Amigurumi are simple knit or crocheted stuffed animals with large heads and sweet personalities. Instructor Michele Wilcox is known for her whimsical and heartwarming stuffed animal designs. In this class, beginner through experienced crocheters will learn dozens of Michele's tips and tricks for crocheting, stuffing, assembling and adding embroidered accents to amigurumi. You'll create four exclusive class projects -- Li'l Piggy, Frankie Frog, Daisy Duck and Mr. Fox. As an added bonus, Michele will also demonstrate how to crochet four interchangeable outfits for giving the animals a fun wardrobe!

In this class you'll learn:

How to crochet 4 adorable amigurumi -- Li'l Piggy, Frankie Frog, Daisy Duck and Mr. Fox -- and their interchangeable outfits
Basic crochet skills including working a foundation chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet, plus basic increasing and decreasing
How to stuff crocheted animals so they are huggable and durable
How to insert safety eye
Simple embroidery stitches for facial features and clothing accents
