In this online video class, you’ll learn how to:
  • Choose fabrics for the project.
  • Create the applique templates.
  • Arrange pieces to showcase the fabric prints.
  • Machine- or hand-applique the pieces in place.
  • Layer the front, batting and backing together.

Materials:
  • ¾ yard gray
  • Scraps of 7 assorted green dots and tonals, green plaid, brown tonal, red tonal, red dot, medium and dark gray tonals, white dot, white tonal, orange tonal
  • ¼ yard white print
  • Backing to size
  • Batting to size
  • Matching threads
  • 9" x 9" piece of ultralight fusible interfacing (optional)
  • Fusible web with paper release
  • Template material
  • 9 (½") white buttons
  • 2 (⅜") white buttons
  • 4 (½") gray buttons
  • 2 (316") black buttons
  • Basic sewing tools and supplies
