• 24-inch section merino wool (top or roving) rope about 1 inch in diameter (for 1 napkin ring)

Project note: Do not use superwash wool; it will not felt. Merino wool fiber is sold by the ounce. Section of merino should squeeze down to a 1/4–3/8-inch diameter when twisted.
